Monstera Project

This is a sketch I did of monstera leaves. I want to use them in a project in the very near future. This is something I have in mind for an upcoming guild challenge: 36" square quilt using only black and white. I might just transfer this to a white piece of fabric and quilt the lines. We'll see! (Sorry about the glare from the flash...gotta figure out how to avoid that!)

My leaves are not as pretty as yours. But, that's o.k. you are the professional. I am still learning and have a long way to go.

What a great idea and if you were to do some embellishments on the leaves to make them sparkle just a bit.
To avoid the glare, just take your photo by standing slightly to one side and then click. You get the glare because you are standing right in front and the flash is bouncing back to the camera.

It's going to be beautiful! I think the idea of quilting is great, you can do more than one ... one for the challenge and one in a very deep, dark green.
I found that when I photographed a photo I had to tilt the photo forward slightly at the top. and got no glare.

This is a beautiful sketch. It would make an interesting quilt pattern over a piece quilt. Whatever you do with it, I'm sure looking forward to seeing the results.
