Here's Cody shortly after coming home with us. We can't believe he's grown so quickly! Now he's a still-growing 88lb. boy.Last weekend we took him to the beach early in the morning. He's starting to spend more time in the water and does a really good job fetching. He's very mellow and minds well on the beach - a plus when there are so many unruly pets!
His new favorite beach is world-famous Ka'anapali Beach. Since not many local folks go there he gets the undivided attention of all the tourists (the dog-loving ones, anyway).
Here he is with his favorite snack - avocado! You can't see it, but there's a whole "cocktail" avocado at the end of that stem. At least it's a little one.

Thanks for your comment about my quilt. Subsequently I discovered your weblog. I most enjoyed seeing your progress in making the turtle quilt. It's amazing and wonderful. And too, seeing Cody since he was a puppy.
