Attempting to get one more quilt done before drop off day, next Tuesday! This will be a jacaranda themed quilt, again using silk. Although I will undoubtedly keep making quilts with cotton, there is something very beautiful and exciting about using silk in quilts.

Looks great ... I've been wanting to do a jacaranda quilt for ages, but I feel a bit weird about keeping on doing trees lol. I'm envious of the silk, mostly because I'm a bit skeered to try it myself ... it's so very firmly in the DECADENT EXOTIC LUXURY category for me, even though in reality it doesn't cost much more than cotton.
