Dianna, I'm assuming you have far more experience doing commissions than I have. How can you let a client know they are going the wrong way colorwise without insulting them? I am working on a smallish commission that is eating up huge amounts of time (and money). The client insists on far too many dark dismal colors & I think she would be really disappointed with the results. She has sent 20 photos of things to match in her room and 30ish samples of embroidery thread to match. How can I gracefully steer her in what I think is the right direction? Can I even do that? I am so frustrated and lost. Can this commission be saved!!!
OMG, you are a constant inspiration ... and just when we think you can't beat the last project, you WOW us with something more breathtaking, yet you remain at 'ground level', not letting it all go to your head and you treat us as your 'equals'. Not sure if I'm getting what I say across, but just want you to know - you are AWESOME! J.H.
